Hendrick narrowed his eyes and scowled. “You’re telling me, Dag and Jacobs are at a party?”
The titan hummed and stepped back. “There was an unexpected turn of events.” Sweeping an arm out in mocking invitation, Gregori displayed a broken set of pearly whites as he grinned at the old scout. “Won’t you come in?”
The giant wore battle-torn fatigue pants as if they were flannel. Bare foot and bare-chested, he obviously had not been expecting company.
“Bah, come in,” Gregori said firmly as Hendrick hesitated. “You’re here already.”
He sighed and walked over the threshold. “Gin?”
